1 Week Until the Fredericksburg Spring Arts & Crafts Faire!

New Work Available

I've finally finished framing for my upcoming weekend at the Fredericksburg Arts & Crafts Faire. This framed gold scarab will be for sale there (you can watch it being made here).

I've also been working on making some hand-colored prints and taking photos for my Etsy shop. I have some new prints available here. I'll be listing more prints and some new greeting cards over the next couple weeks.

A Regal Lab & Lots of Prep

I drew this yellow lab a while back but it needed something. Turns out what it needed was lots of color and some gold leaf. I used cadmium red for the shirt, and three different papers for the sleeves and background. It doesn't show well in this picture, but there's a gold bone pendant as well.
